Chablis “Terroir de la Chapelle”

France
Burgundy
2023

From a plot on a plateau on the left bank of the Serein, across from Fourchaume, from vines planted in 1974. A fresh cuvée because the grapes never have direct contact with the sun, as the rows are planted east to west. Fermented and aged in tank. Pear and crunchy, crisp apple notes.

"The 2023 Terroir de la Chapelle is another lovely bottle of Chablis AC in the making. The wine’s aromatic constellation reveals notes of tart orange, pink grapefruit, lemon peel, wet stone minerality, a touch of licorice and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, fullbodied, crisp and complex, with a good core, fine acids and very good length and grip on the wide open and seamlessly balanced finish."
