"Extreme nose of fresh basil and tarragon with hints of nettle and green bean. Super-fresh and vibrant, but also generous and structured, this is a spectacularly original sauvignon blanc, with staggering energy at the very long and expressive finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold. Glass stopper."

"From the oldest part of the Sulz at 430 to 470 meters in altitude, the 2020 Ried Kriewetz Morillon 1STK is from 70-year-old vines on brown marl soils and assembled with 10% Welschriesling and Sämling (a.k.a. Scheurebe). The wine offers a clear and elegant, pretty spicy and iodine nose with bright fruit and herbal/floral aromas. Open-hearted, full-bodied and lush, finely tannic and with round and elegant fruit, this is a charming Kriewetz with lemon juice aromas on the Burgundian yet still a bit tannic and oaky finish. 13% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the Zieregg in May 2023."
