100% Vermentino from Layne Vineyard in the Applegate Valley AVA of Southern Oregon. This is the second vintage of this bottling, however Brianne has been working with a number of varieties from this vineyard over the years. It is one of the region's older sites, planted in 1975 by Roger Layne  The vineyard sits at 1,600 ft elevation on alluvial topsoils over granitic bedrock. The wine was fermented and matured in a blend of 500L and 288L barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration.
