Mourvedre (69%), Counoise (16%), and Grenache (15%). The Mourvedre was picked early in the Caldor fire saga, and was lightly pressed at Cedarville Vineyard and fermented in tank as Hank and Caro had been evacuated and had no access to their property (or power!). After the danger had passed, a week later, they picked the Counoise and Grenache and pressed those at La Clarine Farm. Everything was blended immediately after the second pressing, and racked into puncheons to finish fermentation and to mature. The wine was bottled in mid-June of 2022, unfined and unfiltered. The Rosé Alors! gives evidence that good things can come from misfortune.
