A blend of 75% Vermentino and 25% Grenache Blanc from Fenaughty Vineyard; a high-elevation site (2,800 ft) on volcanic loam soils, located above the gold rush town of Placerville in the Sierra Foothills. The fruit was picked together and whole cluster pressed into tanks for fermentation. Malolactic did not complete until the spring, hence the name and later than planned release! Fresh and textured, an excellent addition to the La Clarine lineup.
