'Muy Feliz' is a bright and chillable red with a light fizz! 100% Gamay from Barsotti Vineyard, which is situated east of Placerville, at just under 3,000 feet in elevation. The Gamay vines at Barsotti were originally planted in 2005 on a hillside of decomposed granite soils. The grapes underwent carbonic fermentation to preserve a bright red-fruit quality before resting in puncheon over the winter. The wine was bottled in the spring and allowed to undergo a second fermentation, resulting in a delicious frizzante-style bubbly.
