100% Gewürztraminer from Oak Ridge Vineyard in the Columbia Gorge AVA in Washington State. This is a certified organic site, with the original Gewürztraminer vines dating to the early 1980's. The slopes are south-facing and sit at roughly 1,400 ft elevation in the foothills of Mt. Adams. The fruit was ferrmented until dry on the skins (19 days) in open top fermenters, before being pressed off and matured in neutral Burgundy barrels for 8 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
