"The 2022 Rupestris from partners Jordi Arnan and Ramon Perera at Celler Pardas is crafted
from a blend of eighty percent Xarel-lo and twenty percent Malvasia de Sitges. The Xarel-lo is all old vines, hailing from a fifty year-old vineyard. The wine is fermented and aged in concrete vats. The wine offers up a deep and vibrant nose of tart orange, stony minerality, citrus peel, wild fennel, a touch of menthol and a topnote of lemongrass. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and shows off lovely depth at the core, with good mineral undertow, zesty acids and fine focus and balance on the long and complex finish. Good juice. 2023-2030. "
