"A lighter, more approachable style of Coteaux du Layon. It has an attractive delicacy, wearing its 112 grams of residual sugar lightly, with citric fruit flavours and a touch of honey and peach. It can marry well with rich, creamy fish and poultry dishes as well as with cheese, especially blue cheese. Comes from seven of the domaine’s plots, which total 6.51 ha, that border the Layon river. 2022 had many foggy mornings in September and October, ideal for developing botrytis, and picking ran from 29 September to 20 October, with a yield of 20hl/ha. Vinified in stainless steel tanks for six months and bottled in March 2023."
