" It offers a superb aromatic constellation of white peach, apple, hazelnut, a complex base of soil tones, brioche, smoke, dried flowers and a deft touch of buttery oak. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and very precise, with a lovely girdle of acidity, fine mid-palate depth, very refined mousse and a long, complex, impeccably balanced and still quite youthful finish. This is a beautiful wine; with my penchant for dosage, I would have loved to have seen it finished with just a couple of grams to better buffer its still youthful acids, but I am sure that there are plenty of Champagne lovers who will find it immensely enjoyable already. For my palate, a couple more years in the cellar to let it soften up a bit more on the backend would be preferable. "
