Amore Rosso is a blend of Italian varieties (Barbera, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, Negro Amaro) from Broc Cellars’ Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino. Fox Hill is nestled on the Talmage Bench, an uplifted former riverbed from the Russian River, where the soil is predominantly mineral-driven redvine, river rock, and pebbly sandstone, with large quartz pieces scattered throughout. The intention was to make a delicious table wine, capturing the feel of an old school classic field blend. This wine has darker, vibrant fruit with some structure while still being bright and fresh. 12%
