The "Hauts Poyeux" is situated on the upper slopes of the Poyeux terroir iwth layers of calcareous sand and fossilized seashells on tuffeau. The vines were planted in 1980. This Cabernet Franc is aged for twelve months in barrels, and combining fine tannins with rich fruit, in a balanced, complex whole.
