"Les Menais" comes from the town of Varrains and the soil is composed of sand on limestone. The vines are thirty years old on average. Aged for six months in concrete tanks. The "Menais" has a quite elegant side to it, with pure strawberry and raspberry notes, a mineral back bone and a peppery finish. Similar to the "Gaignés" with more depth.
