Heringer, planted on sandy alluvial soils, lies directly alongside the Sacramento river, benefitting from cool breezes during hot california summers. This Pinot Gris is made in a ramato/light red style, and is fermented on skins in tank and matured for six months in neutral French oak. 25 ppm so2, unfined/unfiltered. 12% alc.
