Nero d'Avola from Fernow Ranch in Acampo, located at the northern edge of Lodi. The vines have been farmed organically since the vineyard's inception, and are planted in sandy alluvial soils over granite. The soils at Fernow Ranch provide excellent drainage for the vines, while receiving ample sunshine to ripen Mediterranean varieties like Nero d’Avola. The fruit was 100% destemmed before fermentation, and aged for 12-months in neutral French oak before bottling.
