100% Chardonnay from a vineyard dating to 1593. The vines grow at mid-slope in a cool, west facing site where a thin layer of silt covers active limestone. Spontan fermentation, aged on the lees for 1yr in barrique. The wine is pure stones in the nose, fruit wrapped up in steel threads, and a laser-focused character throughout.
