The 2021 Radiolaria Chardonnay is the first estate Chardonnay from Faîte De Mer Farm. Radiolaria Chardonnay is composed of three blocks from three different soils types, planted to Dijon 548, Wente and Dijon 76. The soils are of ancient ocean floor sedimentary origins, which contain deep sea bed rock called chert, formed from sea plankton (Radiolaria) that dropped onto the seafloor millions of years ago and was pushed up as part of the formation of our Mendocino Coast Ridges. This coastal site produces a mouthwatering, mineral and citrus driven Chardonnay that is lively, intense and delicious.
