'Fog-Eater' is a blend of two sites (Clow Ridge 90%, and Valenti 10%) on the northwestern side of the Anderson Valley. The vineyards are brought together to express the unique cool climate characteristics of the area, where coastal forest conditions and cool fog penetrate the valley each morning during the growing season. The fruit was fermented with 20% whole clusters, 80% destemmed fruit, and barrel aged (10% new) for eleven months before bottling, unfined and unfiltered. 13% abv.
