63% Ehrenfelser (A riesling based crossing), and 37% Kerner from Satori Springs Vineyard - a west-facing site planted on Jory soils (rocky volcanic clay) near Oregon City in the Willamette Valley. Satori Springs is dry-farmed without herbicides, and is LIVE-certified sustainable. Both varieties were picked and pressed on the same day and began co-fermenting with ambient yeasts in stainless steel. The wine was aged on the fine lees for 9 months in a mix of stainless steel and neutral french oak before bottling, unfined/unfiltered. This wine plays in the same sandbox as Bourgogne Aligoté or Muscadet, very bright and energetic with a distinct saline quality.
