Mourvèdre from the limestone and decomposed granite soils of Enz Vineyard in Lime Kiln Valley (San Benito County). The head-trained Mourvèdre vines used for this bottling come from a parcel planted in 1922. The Enz family purchased the site in 1967, and have been farming the Mourvèdre and Pinot Noir organically, and without irrigation. The wine was matured for 13-months in neutral barrels and puncheons, unfined/unfiltered.
