"2020 was a warmer year, and they had to be careful with the harvesting date of the grapes for the 2020 Óleo. They also did shorter macerations than in 2019, and the wine is gentler and a little riper with a little more alcohol but keeping the note of iron and blood and the earthiness that seems to be inherent to the place. The warmth gives it a little more rusticity, but it's all relative; but tasting this next to the 2019, it suffers in comparison. 1,200 bottles and some larger formats were filled in June 2022."
