90% Vermentino/10% Malvasia & Trebbiano. The fruit is from 25-to-50-year-old, organically farmed vines on sandy volcanic soils in the hilly Monte Amiata zone south of Montalcino. The bunches are harvested by hand, destemmed, gently presssed and fermented spontaneously without sulfur in open steel tank with a 16-day maceration. The wine is aged in two acacia barriques and bottled unfiltered. "Le Ragazze" are the young daughters of Fonterenza vignaiola Margherita Padovani (one of whom did the label art).
