Bristat is Catalan for “wine fermented with skins”. This is made with 100% Garnacha Blanca from 20-35-year-old vines, planted on sandy/clay soils. A short maceration (four to six days) is followed by fermentation in steel where it ages for six months.

"Tile, flint, citrus and some apples here. Broad and creamy on the palate with bright, zesty acidity and some fine tannins. Bone-dry on the palate. Skin contact for three days. Stainless steel. Drink now."

"Garnacha Blanca from young vines, fermented on its skins for two weeks before a 6 week elevage in stainless steel. Aromatic and enticing; marzipan, dried peach and apricot, smoke and dried herbs. Remarkable freshness for an orange wine with a delicate grip, and a dry, tapered finish. 2022-2028"

"The skin-contact white 2022 Brisat was produced with pure Garnacha Blanca from 15- to 35-year-old vines at 300 to 350 meters in altitude on clay and sandy soils. The cluster fermented for four to six days in stainless steel tanks, where the wine matured for six months. It has 12.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.46. From 2019 or 2020, it is only Garnacha from the south of Montsant, and they try to avoid high alcohol. It has a bright golden color, from a maceration that is not too long, and the stainless steel keeps more freshness with the skins. It's aromatic, expressive and open, with notes of yellow fruit, pollen and herbs. It has a juicy and soft mouthfeel, with freshness and balance, clean, with a dry finish, a little rounder and riper this year. 9,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023."
