Distilled in June 2008/59% ABV/ Bourbon and Sherry Butt Finish/ Water Source-Little Conval Hill/ Region-Speyside/ The Craigellachie distillery was built in 1891 by Craigellachie Distillery Co. Limited, a group of blenders and merchants led by Alexander Edward. During the years that followed ownership passed to several different companies. Then in 1998 the distillery was sold to John Dewar and son,themselves a part of the Bacardi drinks conlomerate. Nose- Apples, pencil shavings, liquorice- Palette- Chocolate,Old books,apples. Finish- Long ,with lingering oak.
