"The 2016 Ployez-Jacquemart “Meunier Parcelle AB390” takes its name from the plot of vines that lie right next to the maison in the village of Ludes. The vines are old, having been planted in the 1950s, and now farmed organically. The 2016 version is the first vintage that they have been used for a unique cuvée. The wine was disgorged in April of 2021. The bouquet is deep and refined, wafting from the glass in a mix of apple, white peach, beautiful meunier floral tones, brioche and a beautiful base of chalky soil. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and rock solid at the core, with superb mineral undertow and grip, elegant mousse and lovely complexity on the long, zesty and seamlessly balanced finish. This is simply outstanding wine"
