I discovered my love for wine working in kitchens in Washington DC, for great chefs who influenced the wine programs at their restaurants and nurtured an environment focused on education and development. In 2018 I decided to move west and get a taste for winemaking with Aaron & Cara Mockrish of Frenchtown Farms. This was the beginning of something totally new and unexpected. My wife Bryn and I live in Northern California and spend our free time exploring the Sierra with our dog Yabu, cooking based on farmer’s market produce and crushing grapes by foot a few times a year. Most of my time is spent finding the right wine that will pair with our pasta du jour.
