70% Merlot and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, from the high elevation, granitic hills of Nevada County in the Sierra Foothills. After a two day maceration, the red fruit was pressed into the Sauvignon to complete fermentation on the skins and stems. Aged in barrel for 19-months before bottling.
