Pinot Noir from the two and a half-acre Home Vineyard, planted in 1979/1980 and 1999 on clay-loam over volcanic ash soils. While the area is known for its steep and rocky terrain, the Beinstock's vineyard is gently sloping with few rocks to be found, and is unusually cool in the context of the Sierra Foothills AVA.
