"Last year we released our last Cab produced on Old Hill Ranch because the vines had succumbed to phylloxera. This year we are thrilled to release our first cab from our neighbors and good friends at Bedrock Vineyard. For comparison sake, I would typically describe the Old Hill cabs as lean and neutral in nature, built to last for decades. The Bedrock appears to be more generous, packed with high tone cherry fruit and plenty of youthful tannins that portend good longevity. Of course, working with a “new” vineyard is exciting and, in my eagerness, we have opened quite a few bottles to much acclaim and satisfaction. We are pleased, to say the least." - Will Bucklin
