"All Clairette from the lieu-dit known as les Pialons (also known as le Pied Long), the 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Pure Blanc boasts appealing aromas of honeycomb, white peaches and dried spices. It's medium to full-bodied, round and ripe on the palate, then finishes long and refreshing, marked by hints of lime zest."

"All Clairette brought up in 40% new oak, the just-bottled 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Pure Blanc is still tight and focused, with a mineral-laced style as well as classy notes of stone fruits, poached pear, and chalky minerality. It's structured, medium-bodied, and focused. Give it a year or two and hope it puts on some weight."
