From 2.45 hectares spread among several vineyards with vines ranging from 15-40 years of age in Riquewihr, Zellenberg and Ribeauvillé. They are planted in clay, silt, and sandy soils at a density of around 5500 vines per hectare. Hand-harvested; a natural five-month fermentation was followed by six months aging on the fine lees. 1300 cases produced. Sweetness Scale: 1/9 -- 3.5 g/L of RS.
Unfined, no chaptalization, no acidification, only indigenous yeasts.
