Situated on the lower, predominantly clay, part of the slope, this parcel faces east and was planted in 1954 in deep, iron-rich soil.
"(10% vendange entier; 10% new oak; from clay-based soil with a significant iron content): Good deep red. Aromas of redcurrant, rust and earth. Concentrated, chewy and iron-like, showing a slightly roasted quality and more red fruits than black. In a very ripe style but finishes with serious tannins."
