At the top of the slope opposite the domaine, this is the domaine’s largest parcel, at 1.8 hectares. The vines are 50 years old vines on average, and grow in poor brown soil on base of pink Premeaux limestone at the bottom of the parcel and white oolite towards the top;the yield is 25-35 hl/ha for an average annual production of 7,500 bottles.
Hand-harvested and scrupulously sorted, the wine is fermented in open stainless steel tanks for around 3 weeks, then matured in oak barrels, about 50% new, for 18 months.
