“Like the Japanese make better scotch, it now appears that the Irish make better vodka”. —Stuart McNamara, IrishWhiskey.com
Kalak is a phonetic spelling of “Cailleach”, the Irish Celtic goddess; she was the closest thing the Celts had to a “Mother Nature” figure, albeit a darker and more powerful version.
Kalak Vodka is meticulously crafted from Irish malted barley and pure mountain water. Sourced from barley grown locally in southern Ireland, this spirit is distilled four times in a pot still. Yes, in a pot still! (This is not your typical vodka.) Aromas of freshly baked croissants, vanilla and fruity freshness; on the palate, this shows an elegant texture with hints of biscuit, dark chocolate, creaminess and ripe fruit richness.
