40g/l residual sugar, 5g acidity, 10.5% alcohol. Estate-grown from 25+ year old vines on limestone-loess soils and vinified in steel. Deep-fruited, sweet, joyful, varietally true Pfalzer Gewürz full of tea roses and pink grapefruit. Picked at a whopping 105 degrees oechsle (that's low Auslese level!), this is what the wine magazine hacks always used to write about when they raved about pairing Gewürztraminer and Indian or Chinese food. Alsatian versions are too dry and high octane; this is the baby you want with Jungle Curry and serious Sichuan. Amazing bargain - unique, exciting, and sensuously delicious.
