From the north, this is the very first 1er Cru vineyard in the Côte d’Or. There is very little top soil on Bajocian marl. Just under one hectare, planted in 1956 and 1976. Aged for 18 months in barrel (30% new).

Only 3,000 bottles produced.

"Full red with ruby tones. Perfumed aromas of iron and spices. Juicy and energetic, conveying distinct red soil notes of plum, iron and tobacco. Nicely savory, fine-grained wine with good balance and a firm spine of ripe acids and tannins. There's an almost Syrah-like wildness to this wine's spice element."
