100% Morenillo. Organically grown (certified) vines planted in 1945. Tended in limestone and clay soil at 500 m (1,640 ft) elevation. This is a vegan wine.
This limited production wine (only 50 cases for the world) is one of the most unique wines made in Spain. The name of the vineyard and the name of the grape are the same. Morenillo is a nearly-extinct extinct grape indigenous to Terra Alta that produces extremely elegant wines. Similar to Pinot Noir, it is a light-skinned, long-cycle grape that makes bright, fresh, light wines full of flavor and capable of communicating the character of the soil.
