François Cazin

Made entirely from Romorantin, a rare and ancient variety now only planted in the tiny appellation of Cour-Cheverny. Romorantin is naturally high in acidity and often reflects the minerally soils in which it is grown. Cazin's Cour-Cheverny shows delicate floral aromas, tinged with hints of hazelnuts and apricots. The wine is Chablis-like in quality with a long finish.

90 points
"High-pitched and fresh, with green fig, pippin apple and fennel notes streaking through, backed by lime pith and verbena details on the racy finish. Drink now through 2019. "
