Vineyard placement and geology : Situated halfway up the hill and facing full east, the parcel is particularly well-placed for a Village wine. The shallow clay soil contains a significant amount of crushed limestone.
Vine age : 35 years on average
Yield and production : 30-35 hl/ha for an average annual production of 2400 bottles
Vinification: Hand-harvested and scrupulously sorted, the wine is fermented in open stainless steel tanks for around three weeks, then matured in oak barrels, with about 50% new oak, for 18 months.
