The Monje family has been making wine since 1750. For generations they have passed their passion for and knowledge of the land from father to son. Today Felipe Monje continues the family tradition. Felipe uses traditional methods in the cellar. The reds are fermented and raised in very old 500-liter American oak and bottled unfiltered.
Monje Autor is made only in the best vintages. It is a blend of listán negro, negramoll and listán blanco and spends a few years in American barrels. Only 476 cases made.
