Due to the near perfect climate of Mendoza there is little need, even for the inexpensive wines, to use pesticides or herbicides in the vineyards. Los Nevados’ vineyards are situated in the high zone of Mendoza in the Val de Uco and are planted at almost four thousand feet altitude thus benefiting from the cooler climate and long growing season. All cuvees are 100% varietal, the fruit is hand harvested then fermented in stainless steel and aged in 30% new oak for only a few months in order to maintain the freshness of the fruit.
A freindly and fruity style Malbec from Mendoza, this is 100% varietal and aged only three months in barrel to permit the fruit to express itself. Pair with lamb, beef, and hearty dishes.
