Cora is an exciting new proprietary label made for David Bowler Wine by our friends at Enoteca de Rham with fruit sourced from vineyards in the Veneto and the Abruzzo regions of Italy. These are great value wines that are fresh, fun and uncomplicated.
Cora Pinot Grigio is gently pressed then fermented for two weeks at cool temperatures (15°- 16° C) in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then bottled in screw-cap bottles in order to maintain its fresh, bright flavors. Clean and crisp, with hints of citrus and floral notes, Cora Pinot Grigio is an excellent summer quaffer yet pairs well with grilled meats and fish, caprese salad, and light pastas.
Cora Montepulciano is soft-pressed, macerated for two weeks, and fermented under cool temperatures (16°- 17°C). The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and is kept in tank for an additional six months before bottling. This is an excellent value, with notes of bitter cherry and spice on the nose. The wine is medium bodied and juicy, with just enough tannin on the finish to give it structure. This is a perfect foil for pizzas, pastas, grilled meats or poultry and vegetables.
