Montalbera - (Archived)

The Morandi family of Azienda Agricola Montalbera produce high quality wines from the indigenous grapes of the Monferrato region northeast of Asti, namely Grignolino and Ruche. Set within rolling hills interspersed with forests allow for an ideal environment for organic viticulture. The limestone soils promote concentration and complexity. Of particular note is the L’Accento bottling - only produced in the best vintages from selected grapes harvested in their top vineyard site, the Bricco Montalbera.
