Selvanova is a wonderful small estate, committed to the rare indigenous varieties Pallagrello Bianco and Pallagrello Nero. The winery is in the Caserta province of Campania, and located close to the Castel Campagnano, a small village some 50 kilometers north of Naples. The vineyards sit atop the Selvanova hill, 200 meters above the Volturno river, and face southeast towards the Taburno massif. The proprietor, Antonio Buono, is a geologist and a collector of 19th century Italian paintings. Certified Organic.
